The Old Gaol in Abingdon is a Grade ll listed building dating from 1811. In support of local developer Cranbourne Homes, Glanville conducted a topographical survey and flood risk assessment as well as providing technical advice on transport and highways.This proved to be instrumental in demonstrating a viable scheme and Cranbourne was subsequently chosen by Vale of White Horse District Council to transform and revive the site to create a modern style multi-use development while retaining many original features. Glanville has subsequently been responsible for the civil and structural engineering design of the new-build and refurbishment works.
