Full planning consent for a new café and drive-thru at Kingsway Business Park

We are delighted to hear that (with Glanville’s assistance) Robert Hitchins has received full planning consent for a proposed 162sqm café and drive-thru at Kingsway Business Park in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire.

The development is sited on the eastern corner of the junction between Rudloe Drive and Naas Lane and forms Unit 12 of the former RAF Quedgeley site, which is currently being developed as a mixed use residential and commercial development following its closure in 1995.

The successful planning application included the demolition of the existing building on the site and the provision of a new café building, drive thru lane and car and cycle parking, including electric vehicle charging points and accessible spaces.

Glanville worked closely with Robert Hitchins, Savills and SRA Architects to develop the proposals and to assess the transport impacts of the proposals on the surrounding highway and pedestrian and cycle networks.

The planning application was supported by the provision of a Transport Assessment and a Walking, Cycling and Horse-riding Assessment Review (WCHAR).

The team at Glanville have extensive experience supporting planning applications for a wide range of land uses throughout the UK and welcomes the opportunity to support many development proposals. To enquire, please head to our contact page.
