Glanville project shortlisted at RICS UK Awards

Last week, Junaid Farooq, Director at Glanville attended the RICS UK Awards and dinner representing the Glanville Civil, Structural and Transport Engineering Departments, alongside Orestis Tzortzoglou at BioMed Realty. We’re delighted to announce that one of the projects we helped with – Portway Building Redevelopment at Granta Park was shortlisted for the Best Commercial Development.

The 2024 RICS awards were held at Park Plaza Riverbank in London and celebrate the UK’s most inspirational built projects that are having a significant positive impact on the communities they serve. 

Designing and engineering cutting-edge research and development buildings fills the Glanville team with pride. It’s wonderful to know that our team’s work helps to contribute to scientific breakthroughs and technological advancements that shape our future. Our project was up against some very strong competition, and the winners in the Commercial Development category were Kew An Lergh, Nansledan, Newquay by ADAM Architecture. It was a well-deserved win, but we were appreciative to have been recognised and nominated against such strong contenders. Being shortlisted for this prestigious award is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of the entire project team. We’re proud to be part of an industry that continues to push boundaries and create remarkable projects.
