The building, which was built in the 1920s and extended in the early 1990s, is occupied by two restaurants at ground floor and basement levels and has several storeys of offices above. It is to be extensively refurbished and extended to provide modern office accommodation.
Glanville has provided structural engineering advice in relation to the design of the new 8th floor, the recladding of the main external elevations and the remodelling of the building entrance and main office floors.
